2025 Spring Recreation Soccer

Recreational soccer is for U6-U19 aged players. Teams will practice 1 night per week and play games on Saturdays at the Culpeper Sports Complex.

Spring 2025 Registration Dates:

Early Bird Registration: November 5th - December 10th ($85)

Regular Registration: December 11th - February 10th $100)

Late Registration: February 11th - February 23rd ($125)

A few reminders about registration!

The system will only offer age appropriate programs at registration. If you have questions about age group placement, please click on the following link for the USYS Birth Year Matrix.
Team placement is based on your choice of preferred practice day.
Siblings will be on the same night if the "Siblings Section" of the registration form is properly filled out with full names & birth year. This must be done on each player's form.
Siblings who are age appropriate for the same age group will be placed on the same team unless noted otherwise.
Coach and Teammate requests are NOT guaranteed.
You can edit your selections until the close of regular registration by clicking on the player's profile within your account. We will not be able to change them for you.

Important Notes for the Season!

Practice night and team assignments will be released during the week of March 3rd.
Announcements may be delayed if there is no head coach in place for a team.
Players provide their own black socks and black shorts, soccer ball, shinguards and soccer cleats.
Soccer cleats and shinguards are mandatory for U6-U19 rec during practice and games.
**Please note, it may be necessary to schedule games during the week and/or over holidays & school breaks in order to accommodate the 8 game season. This applies to regularly scheduled & make up games.

***NEW Option for U8 - U10 Players ONLY!

Register for age & gender appropriate Rec Soccer AND age appropriate Academy together
Players who desire to participate in U8 - U10 Academy are REQUIRED to register for Rec Soccer
CSC's Academy program is supplemental to the Rec Soccer program
New players must purchase a RED Academy jersey for an additional $20

Uniforms:

All NEW players must purchase jerseys. A set of (2) a navy blue and an orange jersey will be an additional $30 and will be used through the Spring 2026 season.

Coaches:

Volunteers who register as a Head Coach for a rec team will receive a $50 stipend. You can register as a volunteer during player registration! You are required to take 2 free online courses and submit to a background check. Please head to our Coaches page to take the CDC "Head's Up" course on concussion awareness. Certificates need to be uploaded to your profile in order to complete the volunteer registration. Email [email protected] to receive the link to complete the remaining requirements.
